Paul Whitman

Paul has been serving Pine Tree Country Club since 2009, where he enjoys working as the Director of Golf at one of the best clubs and golf courses in Alabama. Born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota, he was introduced to golf as a youth when his grandfather retired and they both took up the game together. Paul has earned degrees from Mississippi State University in Marketing & Professional Golf Management and from the University of Alabama-Birmingham in International Studies. After graduating from MSU, he moved to California to work as an Assistant Golf Professional at The Golf Club at Whitehawk Ranch, then returned to the South in 2000 as the Head Golf Professional at Inverness Country Club. He was elected to PGA of America membership in March of 2000. Paul has been an active member of the Alabama - NW Florida PGA Section having served on the Board of Directors as the Alabama Chapter President, Vice President, and Secretary and is the current chair of the Junior Golf Committee.
